Voici un tutorial ou je vous explique comment placer sur un toit une ouverture avec un revetement imitant un panneau solaire.

Puisque l'energie solaire va devenir l'avenir,autant habituer nos sims à cette nouvelle methode.

Les explications sont aussi valables avec un revetement transparent et ainsi vous obtenez un vasistas .

Donc il nous faut une maison.

The explanations are also valid with a transparent tiling and thus you get a Velux ® window.

First you need a house.

Preparons donc .Nous passons à l'étage et nous construisons une piece de 4 par 2 à un carreau du bord .

Sur cette piece on met un revetement imitant un panneau solaire,vous pouvez le telécharger.( ici)

De chaque coté de la maison nous montons 2 murs de 2 étages,sur ce mur on place un carrelage.

Let's get ready! On the top floor, build a 4X2 room, a square from the edge. On top of this room, place a tiling imitating a solar panel (you can download it here)

On both sides of the house, build a wall the same height as the house (it must be level to the solar panels). Put a tiling on top of the walls (see picture)

Devant cette piece,nous allons mettre un toit une pente.

In front of this room, put a one-slope roof.

Maintenant nous ouvrons la fenetre de code :ctrl+majuscule+C puis nous mettons le code

boolProp constrainFloorElevation false

On prend l'outil abaisser le terrain ,on se place sous un des murs et nous descendons un carré de 3 clics.

Now open the cheat code window: ctrl+caps+C ; then type the code boolProp constrainFloorElevation false .

Using the tool to lower the ground, place your mouse under one of the walls and lower a square 3 clicks down.

Puis on prend l'outil aplanir le terrain,nous nous deplaçons tout le long du mur.

Then use the tool to level the ground, move all along the wall so it goes down.

Toujours avec l'outil aplanir le terrain,on se place sur le mur de coté et nous passons par dessus la piece pour aller sur l'autre mur ,comme sur la photo.

Still using the tool to level the ground, start from a tile on top of that wall and drag all the way through the house to the opposite wall (see picture).

Avec l'outil aplanir nous mettons l'autre mur au même niveau ainsi.

With the same tool put the other wall level.

Voici une premiere étape.Maintenant nous allons baisser le devant de notre piéce,nous allons reprendre l'outil abaisser le terrain,on se place sous notre mur de coté,et on baisse un carreau de 2 clics.

Puis avec l'outil aplanir le terrain,nous nous déplaçons tout le long du mur comme cela.

Notre mur est donc descendu .Donc nous nous plaçons sur le mur de façon a ce que nous soyons face à la bordure de notre piece.Nous nous déplaçons d'un mur à l'autre.

Voyons, le bord de la piéce depasse encore,donc nous allons devoir l'abaisser à nouveau.

Nous recommençons avec l'outil abaisser le terrain on baisse un carreau de 1 clic puis avec l'outil aplanir on se déplace tout le long du mur.

Avec l'outil aplanir le terrain on se place sur le mur de coté et on passe d'un mur à l'autre au même endroit c'est à dire en bordure de la piéce.

(il est possible que vous deviez faire cette opération à plusieurs reprises en fonction de la pression que vous mettez sur le clic pour baisser votre carré)

Il n'y a plus besoin du code,donc on ouvre la fenetre ctrl+majuscule+C on rentre le code:

boolProp constrainFloorElevation true

On place un toit 2 pentes.

You don't need the cheat code anymore, therefore open the cheat window ctrl+caps+C and turn off the code: boolProp constrainFloorElevation true

Now build a two-slope roof on one side of the room.

L'autre coté un 2° toit 2 pentes.

Do the same on the other side.

Il reste l'arriére .On place un mur à 3 carrés du bord.

You still have to do the back of the room. Build a wall 3 squares from the edge…

Puis on met un toit 1 pente dans cet espace.

and put a one-slope roof in that space.

Vous voyez sur la photo qu'il reste un espace au centre,donc nous mettons un toit 2 pente pour fermer la toiture.

You can see on the picture that there's still a space without a roof in the center.

Therefore, put a two-slope roof to close the roof.

Vous voyez sous notre panneau solaire la marque du toit,on se place sur ce toit avec la touche ctrl on retire ce toit.

You can see the mark of the roof under the solar panel, so remove this roof with the ctrl key.

nous avons retiré le toit il faut en remettre un.

Mais nous mettons un toit 1 pente mais que sur les 2 carrés du centre,comme le toit dépasse toujours ainsi il va venir combler jusqu'au toit de coté sans pour autant faire une marque qui dépasse du panneau solaire.Vous voyez la différence sous le panneau solaire.

You're going to put a one-slope roof again, but not on the whole length of your room, only on the two central squares. The roof is always wider than the surface covered, so it's going to fill the space between the roofs, without leaving a mark under the solar panel. You can see the difference.

Sous le toit il y a tous les murs des toits.

Under the roofs you can see all the walls.

Avec la touche ctrl on peut supprimer tous ces murs pour pouvoir utiliser le grenier comme piéce d'habitation.

On retire les murs sur le coté de la maison en commençant par le carrelage puis les murs.

Voyons de plus prés notre panneau solaire.
